Airworthiness division’s primary goal– To ensure the airworthiness of aircraft and to ensure air operators and approved maintenance organizations comply with standards of Mongolia.

Main responsibilities of airworthiness division
– Registration & deregistration of aircraft
– Issue of type acceptance certificate
-Issue & renewal of the Certificate of Airworthiness
-Certification & surveillance of AOC holders jointly with Flight Standard and Operation Surveillance Division (FSOSD)
-Certification of AMO
-Mandatory occurrence report investigations
-Continuing airworthiness surveillance
-Leasing aircraft and Article 83 bis
-Regional and international cooperation on airworthiness
